Top Flight Detail Co. is a fully mobile detailing service working across the Monterey Peninsula throughout Car Week, August 7–16, 2026. We come to your hotel, vacation rental, private garage or storage facility anywhere from Monterey and Carmel to Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley — no drop-off, no shop appointment. We are open 24 hours from August 5 through August 17 to work around transport arrivals, judging schedules and auction preview days.
Here’s roughly how the week unfolds, so you can plan your booking around the days that matter to you. We keep this in step with the official Monterey Car Week calendar, but the organizers set the final dates and times — and they do shift — so it’s always worth a quick check before you lock things in.

|---|---|---|
| Fri 7 Aug | Car Week kickoff, downtown Monterey | Arrival day — most transport unloads |

| Wed 12 – Sat 15 Aug | Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Laguna Seca | Multi-day track presence |
| Thu 13 Aug | Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance | Entrants on Highway 1 — road film before judging |
| Thu 13 – Sat 15 Aug | Auctions: RM Sotheby's, Gooding, Bonhams, Broad Arrow | Consignment prep before preview days |
| Fri 14 Aug | The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering | Quail Lodge & Golf Club, Carmel Valley |
| Sun 16 Aug | 75th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance | 18th fairway, Pebble Beach Golf Links |
Priced by service depth and time, not by vehicle class — Car Week vehicles are coupes, exotics and classics, so our standard size ladder does not apply.

Contact for quote →Your hotel, vacation rental, private residence, garage, storage facility, or trailer-side at unload. For street and public shows — Exotics on Broadway, Concours on the Avenue — we can work the display area directly.
The Pebble Beach show field and The Quail lawn are credentialed environments. We work those only as part of an entrant's own team, on a credential you provide. If that's your situation, get in touch and we'll build it into your prep plan.
A 30% deposit holds your slot when you book online, and your final total — including any adjustments below — is confirmed after a quick review. For Car Week that deposit is non-refundable within 72 hours of the appointment: during event week, cancellations cluster around the events themselves and a lost slot can’t be resold at a day’s notice.
Concours Preparation closes 3 August and needs at least 7 days between booking and start — it runs multi-day against a show date that cannot move. Show Prep closes 10 August. Arrival Detail and Staging Touch-Up stay open through the week, subject to availability.
Our Car Week work sits one tier below the Pebble Beach show field: Quail entrants, Concorso Italiano and Exotics on Broadway cars, hotel and dealer displays, auction consignments, and collectors staying on the Peninsula for the week. Cars competing on the 18th fairway generally travel with their own concours specialists — if that is you, we are glad to take the arrival, staging and overflow work alongside them rather than claim to replace them.
Enclosed transport operators, vacation rental and property managers, hotel concierges, and auction consignors: we run a trade rate of −20% on three or more vehicles with a payment method on file, and we schedule around transport windows and preview days rather than a consumer calendar. Our Sprinter is fully self-contained — no water or power needed from your property, which is usually the blocker at hotels and gated addresses. Call or email direct; you do not need to go through the online booking flow.
Yes. We are fully mobile and work at hotels, vacation rentals, private garages and storage facilities anywhere from Monterey and Carmel to Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley. We need space to work around the vehicle and permission from the property — for hotels and gated communities that usually means letting the front desk or gate know in advance.
Concours Preparation needs a minimum of 7 days between a confirmed booking and the start of work — it runs multi-day and the show date cannot move — and it closes to new bookings on 3 August. Show Prep closes 10 August. Arrival Detail and Staging Touch-Up stay open through the week subject to availability. Bookings made inside 24 hours carry a 35% surcharge.
Show Prep is a one-step gloss polish with full decontamination, interior, engine bay and jambs — 5 to 8 hours, $1,200 to $1,800 by condition. It makes a very good car look excellent. Concours Preparation is multi-stage correction across every accessible surface, including wheel wells, jambs and brightwork, plus a morning-of touch-up. It is billed at $200/hr with a 12-hour minimum and is measured in days rather than hours.
Yes — that is exactly what the Arrival Detail is for. Enclosed transport still leaves road film, rail dust and static-attracted grit on paint and glass. The Arrival Detail is a 2 to 3 hour wash, decontamination, wheels, tires, glass and interior wipe-down at $450, or $650 for a large vehicle, wagon or SUV.
Yes. Consignment prep ahead of preview days is a core part of our week — the RM Sotheby's, Gooding, Bonhams and Broad Arrow sales all run 13–15 August. Show Prep is the usual choice for a consignment car. Three or more vehicles with a payment method on file qualify for the −20% trade rate.
Both, with one condition. Most of our Car Week work happens where your car is staying — the hotel, your rental, a private garage, a storage facility, or trailer-side the moment it comes off the transport. For street and public shows like Exotics on Broadway or Concours on the Avenue, we can work the display area directly.
The Pebble Beach show field and The Quail lawn are different: they are credentialed, and there is no vendor pass for detailers. We work those only as part of an entrant’s own team, on a credential you provide. If that is your situation, contact us — we will quote it and coordinate around your judging time.
One practical note for Concours entrants: the field opens to entrants at 5:30am, long before the public. The most useful slot is almost always the night before, wherever the car is stored. We are open 24 hours from August 5 through August 17 for exactly that reason.
Yes. We service homes and rentals throughout Pebble Beach and Del Monte Forest. The gates require resident or guest authorization for a service vehicle, so we will ask you to arrange access with the gate before your appointment — it takes a call from the property. A $75 gate access charge covers the coordination and entry time.
Nothing. We run a fully self-contained mobile detailing Sprinter van — we carry our own water and power, so we do not need a spigot or an outlet from the property. All we need is a standard parking space beside the vehicle and permission to work there. That is exactly what lets us operate at hotels, vacation rentals, storage facilities and gated Del Monte Forest addresses where hookups are not available.
Yes. We work Concours Sunday, 16 August. Our 24-hour window runs 5–17 August, so pre-dawn slots ahead of judging are available where your car is stored — book the Staging Touch-Up for that. Work on the Pebble Beach show field itself is only possible on a credential you provide; see the show field question above.
Booking online holds your slot with a 30% deposit, and we confirm your final total after a quick review. For Car Week that deposit is non-refundable within 72 hours of the appointment — cancellations cluster around the events themselves and a lost slot can’t be resold at a day’s notice.
Scope: this is show, display, auction and arrival preparation. Top Flight Detail Co. is an independent mobile detailing business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official vendor of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, The Quail, or any other Car Week event.
